I moved to San Marcos in August. I like having a coffee shop to work on grading and class prep. I tried a few places and liked them but once I found the Mochas near campus I knew I found my spot.
We stopped in for breakfast and coffee. Loved the atmosphere and abundance of seating. Restaurant feels warm, inviting, and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We sampled some pastries and had breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious. I can see how this is a local favorite. Highly recommend for a coffee stop, breakfast or lunch.
The baristas are incredibly cool, kind, and helpful. The food is delicious and there are a a lot of nice places to sit and hang out. My only minor issue is that the coffee can be hit or miss. Most of the time the coffee is great but somewhat often I’ll get noticeably dead espresso shots. If that’s something that bothers you a lot then be a little bit wary. Ideally management could do some minor retraining to emphasize good espresso. Other than that I love this place.
Drip coffee is great! The food is pretty good, but the atmosphere is really warm and cozy. Usually full of college students, this place is an instrumental milestone for any TXST student exploring the city for their favorite coffee shop/study spot. Pro tip if you go in the morning: coffee from here, kolaches next door.
Ever since moving to San mo, this place has been my go-to. I love having healthy food choices, the baristas are great and friendly, been coming here for two years and never had a problem! the coffees, smoothies, matcha are just delicious

So glad to discover this place! I needed a place that had great food, a place to work on my business stuff, and of course great coffee. All boxes checked here! And then they also had great service! This is my new favorite spot.
